Wings announce Pre-Season Schedule

Red Wings announce preseason schedule

First exhibition game at home on Sept. 24

The Red Wings today released their exhibition schedule for the 2008-09 season. The regular-season schedule will be released later this month.

On-sale dates for individual preseason games have not been announced.

The exhibitions:

• Wednesday, Sept. 24: vs. Montreal, 7:30

• Thursday, Sept. 25: vs. Boston at Halifax, Nova Scotia, time TBA

• Friday, Sept. 26: vs. Boston, 7:30

• Sunday, Sept. 28: vs. Atlanta, 5

• Tuesday, Sept. 30: at Montreal, time TBA

• Wednesday, Oct. 1: at Atlanta, 7

• Friday, Oct. 3: vs. Toronto, 7:30

• Saturday, Oct. 4: at Toronto, 7

•Sunday, Oct. 5: vs. Buffalo, 5
